Tarka Daal

Quite possibly the easiest Indian style dish you can make.  This dish comes together in 15 minutes and can be used as a side for a curry feast, as a sauce on some slimming world chips, or anything else you can think of.

Tarka Daal

Indian inspired sauce that can be served alongside a curry or over Slimming World Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 tsp mild curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. add all the ingredients to a small pan

  2. simmer until the lentils are soft, adding more water if needed

Recipe Notes

This can easily be bulked out with any number of veg and served as a main dish.
